Robert J. Barnhart
January 9, 1947 – April 29, 2021

Robert J. Barnhart, 74, of Milford, NJ entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

He was employed at Whippany Actuation Systems in Whippany, NJ as an electromechanical assembler, tester, and inspector. He had a passion for working and keeping his mind active.

Bob, known as Barney to many of his friends, was a genuinely kind hearted man. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, nature and playing pool. He was passionate about football and was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. His greatest happiness was spending time with his family.

Bob was the beloved father of Michele Pento and husband Gerard, Rachael Vespucci, Bobby Barnhart and wife Daisy, Christopher Barnhart and wife Michele. He was a loving grandfather of Gianna and Gabriella Pento, Rocco, Dominic and Angelina Vespucci, Alyssa Barnhart, and Brianna Weis, and great grandfather to Lily Weis. He will always be in our hearts and forever in our memories.

A memorial service will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the funeral home.

Due to Bob’s compassion for children with cancer, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in his memory.
