Milagros Joaquin Basa

Milagros Joaquin Basa, 77, died peacefully on Friday January 1, 2021 at home in Somerville Borough NJ.  She was born on November 27, 1943 in Hermosa Bataan Philippines to her dear parents the late Plabiana (Guevarra) and Filemon Joaquin. Milagros was married for 55 years to the love of her life, Angelito N. Basa, Sr.  Together Milagros and Angelito moved to the United States from the Philippines and lived in Jackson NJ with family for a few years before settling in Somerville NJ.    She was an entrepreneur and a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family.  Milagros was a devout Catholic who prayed the rosary and watched virtual mass daily.  She enjoyed the time spent with her husband and senior friends at the Circle of Life senior activity center.   A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Milagros was kind, caring, generous and loving and will be missed by all who knew her.

Milagros is survived by her loving husband Angelito N. Basa, Sr., her three sons Reynaldo Basa (wife Krista) (Philippines), Remil Basa (wife Eleinne) (Jackson NJ), and Angelito, Jr. (wife Jen) (Philippines).  She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she adored Angelique Louis, Angelino, Princess, Scarlet, Clark, Justine, Tyler, Angelo and Aldrich.   

Milagros was predeceased by her parents and her siblings all in the Philippines.
