It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Jantusch, age 82, on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Margaret was born on September 28, 1943, in the Bronx, New York, to the late Bridget and Daniel Ward.
Margaret was one of 12 siblings raised in Englishtown, NJ. She lived in Branchburg, NJ before moving to South Bound Brook, NJ. Throughout her career, she worked at Taylor Forge Stainless Steel and Baker & Taylor and later retired from Highland Packaging as a Quality Control Manager. Margaret loved spending time with her family, and Christmas mornings were especially dear to her. She also looked forward to family reunions and cherished the time she spent with her sisters when they visited. She enjoyed many favorite activities, including playing Bingo, taking trips to Atlantic City, riding roller coasters and watching scary movies. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her.
Margaret is survived by her beloved children Elizabeth “Libby” Sellers and Leo Jantusch (Vickie), her loving grandchildren Derril Sellers (Dana), Pamela Villeda (Christopher), Eric Sellers (Alexa), Emily Jantusch and Ethan Jantusch, her cherished great grandchildren Greyson, Caiden, Jolene and Luca and her siblings John Ward and Helen Reyes amongst many loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Derril (2003), her 1-year-old daughter Lorie (1967) and her siblings Michael, Anne, James, Billy, Jean, Thomas, Dennis, Kathleen and Daniel and son-in-law Paul Sellers.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Cuoco Funeral & Cremation Services Funeral Home 10 West End Ave., Somerville, NJ (908) 707-2058 www.Cuocofuneralandcremation.com. Burial at Saint Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold, NJ will be private.
