Laura Lynn Hanania, of Bedminster, New Jersey, age 58, passed away in her home on
May 02, 2025, three years after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
Predeceased by her parents Hellal (“Hal”) Hanania and Margaret (O’Connor) Hanania,
Laura was lovingly tended to in her final days by her family.
Laura had an eye for beauty, style, art and architecture. She cultivated her natural
artistic abilities by obtaining an A.A.S in Advertising Design from Cazenovia College,
NY. With additional training in video production (Film and Video Arts, NY), creative
writing (Rutgers University), and copywriting (School of Visual Arts, NY), Laura pursued
a creative career starting in video production in 1997. Her penchant for organization and
ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, along with her creative talents led Laura
to a successful career as a multimedia and video producer for several marketing and
communications agencies.
While Laura was dedicated to her work, what brought her joy in living was her love of
beauty, family, friends, travel, music, cooking, animals and nature. What brought joy to
each of us who knew her was her fantastic sense of humor, kindheartedness and
special ability to connect with us each so personally.
Laura leaves behind her three older sisters, Cathy Loccisano and husband Dennis of
Texas; Carol Goldbach of New Jersey; and Nancy Jones and husband Tim of
Oklahoma; cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces, Andrea Loccisano and
daughters Sarah Catherine and Mary Grace Massey of Texas; Chris Loccisano and wife
Stephanie of Texas; Bryan Matland and wife Eleanor Baldenweck of Virginia; Eric
Matland and wife Rebecca Stringer and their daughter Ellen of New Jersey; Jeff Jones
of California; and Kailey Jones of Utah; as well as many other loved family members
and friends.
Friends and family are invited to Cuoco Funeral Home, 10 West End Avenue in
Somerville, NJ on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 2:30pm to 7:30pm to pay their respects. A
gathering to celebrate Laura’s life will be held at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance, LLC,
