Kokila Rajnikant Dharia, 83, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2022,
surrounded by her loved ones. Kokila was born to Kirtanlal and Kamalaben Shah on
May 12, 1939 in Ahmedabad, India.
Kokila was preceded in her death by her loving husband, Rajnikant Dharia. She is
survived by her two sons, Falgun Dharia and Vipul Dharia, daughter-in-law Paru
Dharia, and her grandchildren Manasi Dharia, Tiffany Dharia, Monika Dharia and
Davesh Dharia.
Kokila will be remembered by her loved ones for her unconditional love and
generosity. She loved to spend her time with friends at the senior center, going to
the movies, playing the penny-slots at the casino, watching Indian soap operas and
getting pink manicures. She expressed her love by cooking meals and sharing with
her family and friends. She dedicated her life to serving God with her daily pujas and
regular visits to the temple. She will be remembered for her endless smiles and
animated stories about her family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 10:30 AM at
Somerset Hills Memorial Park & Chapel in Basking Ridge, NJ followed by cremation.
Prayer services will be held at Parsippany Adult Day Care Center in Parsippany, NJ
at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 17, 2022 for family and friends. She will be in
