Gaven Thomas Deahl

Middlesex – Gaven Thomas Deahl, 17, passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2020.  He was born on January 8, 2003 in Somerville, NJ to Larry and Allison Deahl.

Gaven was a Middlesex High School student.  He enjoyed art and, given a sketchbook and pencils, he soon filled it with many unique drawings that beautifully expressed his feelings.  He enjoyed music and his life experiences provided him with rich and eclectic musical tastes varying from disney songs to Beatles to Lil' Peep.  He was planning to begin piano lessons this year.  He enjoyed computers and was adept at technology.  He was installing his own operating systems and built his own gaming computer at an early age.

Gaven was a loving son and brother.  He was a young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, or friend.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Gaven is survived by his parents, Larry and Allison; his sister Rachel, brother Ryan, aunt Kelly Scardelli and husband Dan, cousins Darrin and Larell, aunt Kim Deahl and husband Jim, cousins Katie and Noah, Aunt Kelly Furphy and husband Michael, cousins Jean, Amy, Sean, Tyler, aunt Cassie Belski and husband Matt, Aunt Rebecca Davis and husband Jack, cousin Jimmy

Services will be held Saturday February 1, 2020 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Somerville Funeral Home 10 W. End Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876 (908) 725-2079.  The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to http://www.coordinatedfamilycare.org/
