Louise Castronova left a message on April 13, 2022:
Dr. Fred T and I will not soon forget the wonderful song and guitar sessions that we shared with Ed. He was truly talented. We still can't get over the many impressions he would do when we weren't singing and playing. He did Marlon Brando as The Godfather even better than Marlon Brando if you get my drift. Ed could suddenly morph into a famous person and would hold us spellbound with his impersonations. As a musician, self taught on the guitar, he was wonderful. He took song words and turned them into sheet music and played the songs on his tech. devices. He was a writer, a singer and an arranger as well. We are brokenhearted about Ed's untimely passing. It's as if there was a room with a bright light, and now that room is plunged into darkness. Ed won't be walking into Dr. Fred's office any longer. No matter how many times we go over and over this, we still anticipate his entry and his enthusiasm for music. We will never forget him! To his family, I send my deepest condolences. Peace and Love to all.
Fred Trovato left a message on March 2, 2022:
He was an artist, a musician, a scholar, a man of devotion and a teacher. Most of all, however, he was a true and devoted friend wrapped in a sweet and kind nature. He offered a helping hand in times of need, a guiding light in times of darkness, a consoling voice in times af trouble. Together, we once wrote a song, “Miss You by Amy Friend. Today, those words and melody ring so true for me. I truly miss my dear friend.

Pat, Linda, Annie, Helen, and Rich, Bill and I are shocked and heartbroken to hear Ed has left us so soon and suddenly. We can’t express enough how saddened we are. He leaves a big hole in so many hearts. Ed was such a kind, loving, caring person. I so admired how he looked after all his siblings and adored all his nephews and nieces. He had so many talents. We always looked forward to receiving his Christmas card that he created, always waiting to see how he could possibly surpass the previous year, which he always managed. One year I was pleasantly surprised to receive a mug with many of his drawings printed on it that I will cherish as well. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathy and we hope the many fond memories I know you all have of him will help you all through this most difficult time. Hugs and Love to you all. Bill & Colleen

Both myself and my wife had worked with Ed for years. He was not only a real nice guy, but also an artist, and a talent on the guitar. I remember so many times he would come into my office, to play a few tunes on the guitar, or to show me a new one that he had picked up. I remember how he was such a big fan of The Grateful Dead. He was a music lover. We hope he has found his peace. Lloyd & Mai

To Ed's family. I worked with Eddie for 26 years at CTI with so many wonderful memories of our friendship. He would serenade me with his guitar at lunch time if he had a new song to share, or he would show me his artistic creations and his cards. I have my own collection of "Ed" art. What a great loss of a talented man at such a very young age. To his sisters and their families, I have met some of you at your Mother's service when she passed. I remember you all in my heart and am truly saddened by his death. My prayers go to you all. Tracy Linhares
