Annandale resident and longtime resident of Union County, Medical receptionist, loving wife of 56 years, mother and adoring grandmother.
Diane Schroeder, age 78, lived in Union County most of her life, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.
She was born on September 14, 1945 in Elizabeth, NJ. She spent her entire childhood on Chestnut Street in Union, NJ and resided in Annandale, NJ almost four years ago.
She was the daughter of the late John and Helen Enzabella.

Diane was a graduate of Union High School in Union, NJ. She worked at Baxter Warehouse in Union before her children were born. After raising her children, Diane enjoyed taking care of children for other families. She later worked as a receptionist for various doctors, dentists and eventually Parkway Mortgage in Kenilworth, NJ.
Diane was an avid reader, loved animals and spending time with them. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with friends and family but absolutely loved being at the beach. Most of all, she was always there to help other people, adored her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Schroeder, her son Ronald J Schroeder, daughter Donna Kelly and her husband Brian of Martinsville, NJ; three grandchildren; Brooke, Morgan and Paige. Sister Patricia Jukniewicz of Cranford, NJ

Calling hours will take place on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 4-8pm at Cuoco Funeral Home, 10 West End Ave, Somerville, New Jersey
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 10am at St. Magdalen Catholic Church, 105 Mine St, Flemington, NJ. Interment at St. Magdalen Cemetery, 94 North Main St, Flemington, NJ.
