Somerville, NJ- It is with heartfelt sorrow to share the tragic loss of a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Alyne Christina da Silva Espinal, age 46, on Thursday, August 6, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1980 to her dear parents Neuza Lina Vieira Silva and Paulo Daniel da Silva in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Alyne spent more than five years working alongside her son, Leo, at Red Lobster. In her free time, she cherished days at the beach and, most of all, time with her family.
Beautiful, strong, and hardworking, Alyne was taken from this world far too soon. Her warmth and smile will remain forever in our hearts.
Alyne is survived by her beloved son Leonardo Luiz da Silva Verissimo (Cristiny de Moraes Silva), cherished granddaughters Julia Vitoria Moraes dos Santos, Luiza Moraes Verissimo, and Alyssa Moraes Verissimo, her parents, a sister Jussara Cristina da Silva, and her brothers Fabricio di Paula Silva and Paulo Marcel Viera da Silva.
It is the wishes of the family that visitation and committal services be private.
