RARITAN “formerly of Somerville”- Alan (Al) A. Fischetti, 63, entered eternal life on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was born on March 2, 1959 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

Alan had a passion to cook and was known to all as a Master Chef. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. In his spare time, Al enjoyed traveling to his family’s home at the Jersey Shore, in Maine and visiting a variety of countries with his beloved wife Kathy. Al could be found kayaking in the waters of Pleasant Pond, camping, fishing, and attending live music shows. He admired cars, especially his convertible Thunderbird. Alan always made every effort to make those around him happy. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who truly cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Alan will be sadly missed by his beloved children Julianna, Alexaray and Alan Tristan Fischetti and wife Kristy, cherished grandchildren Cole Alessandro and Max Tristan, a sister Donna Perry and husband Raymond, and his brother-in-laws Gregory A. Hughes, Mark V. Hughes and Raymond L. Hughes II and wife Christine, his nieces and nephews, a dear friend Brian Shari and his dogs. He is predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen A. (Kathy) Hughes Fischetti (October 4, 2021), his parents Alessandro and June Fischetti and in-laws Raymond L. and Irene B. Hughes.

A Celebration of Alan’s life will be from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the home of Cuoco Funeral & Cremation Services 10 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ (908) 707-2058 followed by a Graveside service at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
