Eddie was my best friend since High School...No, he was my brother from another mother to be more accurate. We did everything together for years, double dates, Karate, VERY competitive tennis matches whenever we both found the time, and so many other things. We traveled to Europe together three times back in the 70's, Youth Hostels, Back Packs, through Germany France, and the Scandinavian countries. So much fun! His parents, Ed, and Loretta, treated me like their son, knowing how much we loved each other. The poker nights at their house, where we laughed so hard! And the other Musketeer was John Folkman, my other best friend. This picture is at our 50th H.S. Reunion. I'm on the right. Ed, I miss you so much, but we will meet again my brother. I'm just so happy there is no more pain. I love you, Bro.

My mom and dad were very close to Aunt Lauretta and Uncle Ed. We spent a lot of time in Martinsville with the family. My brother and I were very close to Ed Jr We used to play for hours swimming in the brook, getting out, taking leeches off our bodies. Haha Ed was like brother to us. We miss him. He got to see pictures of my family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They even sent him videos. We love you, Ed. We know that your with the Lord now with no pain or misery.

This passing was heartbreaking, I remember Eddie from when I was just a small girl, he was full of smiles, so very considerate of others, his momma was an absolute Angel & she taught him very well. Very sorry to all those close to him, including my mom, always enjoyed talking with him over the phone and his calls will be greatly missed, hearing him tell us about his beloved dog penny, always asking how we were all doing, and rarely spoke of his troubles. May you Rest In So Much Peace Eddie, say hi to your Aunt, (my Grandma) for me…. Hug your mom & dad… and give my grandpa a big kiss on the cheek please & Thank you. God gained a wonderful Angel with a heart of gold…. We lost a good friend always there to listen xoxoxox until we meet again 💙🙏🏼💙
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
