Denby Germain, 48, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was born on January 29, 1978 in Port Au Prince, Haiti to Jean and Marie Claire Germain.
Denby moved to the United States as a child and in his adulthood he pursued his education at Devry University. He built a proud career as a technician for AT&T. He married the love of his life, Amparo Germain, on September 2, 2007 and the two began to build a life together focused on love, devotion, and family.
Denby lived fully and joyfully. He was an avid gamer who loved a good match, a fearless poker player, and loyal football fan; specifically cheering on the New York Giants.
He was known for his kind heart and incredible dance moves that could turn anything into a celebration. Denby had a contagious cheerful sense of humor that could lighten up any dark moment. He brought a strong sense of comfort to those in pain. Denby never hesitated to help someone in need and was always willing to open his home to family and friends. His generosity and warmth touched everyone who knew him.
Denby is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Amparo Germain and their two children, Amaya and Christian. He is also survived by his parents, Jean and Marie Claire, his younger sister Jenny Germain, and older brother, Williamson Germain.
A Memorial Mass will be held for Denby on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1pm at the Church of the Assumption, located at 302 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
Denby was a man of true virtue whose love, laughter, and spirit will be missed immensely by those around him. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him
