Chairoj “Bobby” Raviwong moved on from this life on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at age 47 while holding the hand of his best friend and surviving wife of 15 years, Jessica Raviwong. He fought a courageous and hard battle with cancer. He never wavered in his strength throughout his difficult diagnosis.
Chairoj was born on May 13, 1978, the son of Boonreun and the late Chuankid Raviwong, the phenomenal father of Lucy and Vivian Raviwong, and devoted brother to Avory Raviwong. He was a treasured brother in law to the large Haldeman family.
Chairoj, or known as Bobby to his childhood friends, grew up in Levittown NY. He was a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s University and went on to work towards his graduate degree from Villanova. Upon meeting his wife and deciding to start a family, they chose to settle down in Bridgewater, NJ.
Chairoj truly loved life. Whether it be his role as a stay at home dad, or just a day spent on the golf course – you could always find him smiling. He enjoyed cooking and hosting holidays for his family, spending time with friends and watching basketball, football or really anything on ESPN. Chairoj and his mother introduced a plethora of delicious Thai food to his friends and family. What Chairoj loved most of all was his family. His two girls were his world and he emulated the characteristics of the perfect “girl dad”. Family meant everything to Chairoj. And Chairoj meant everything to his family. Though Chairoj’s life was too short, it was encompassed with laughter, love and friendship. He believed in the power of family and dedicated his life to creating a loving and supportive home. Chairoj’s stories, advice, and warm hugs will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
